The original Victoria Estates Restrictive Covenants, written by the original subdivision development company in 1984, have had minimal amendments. The most recent amendments of the VEHOA Restrictive Covenants for Phase I & II were adopted by the developer who, in 1992, owned the majority of the subdivision lots. An additional Phase III Restrictive Covenants Amendment was adopted in 2004 by the developer who subdivided Tract B-1 into single-family home sites.
In 2023, a Restrictive Covenants committee of VEHOA members proposed revising the current 1992 and 2004 Restrictive Covenants. The proposed revised Restrictive Covenants have been presented for adoption on the 2024 and 2025 VEHOA Annual Membership Meeting ballot. However, they have not been adopted because we have not received enough VEHOA membership votes to comply with Alaska Statutes to amend or change the existing Restrictive Covenants.
