The Mat-Su Borough has lifted the "Burn Permit Suspension." Wildfire danger is still at a "Moderate Danger" level. Several wildfires are burning across Alaska.
Please do your part to prevent wildfires by saving fireworks until New Year's Eve, when it will be cold, wet, and legal to use fireworks to comply with the Mat-Su Borough Fireworks Control Code.
